Founded in 2021, the Bexley Bloomers formed to provide gardening support for the crown jewel of Bexley, Jeffrey Mansion and the surrounding park. We’re a volunteer-led group that works hand-in-hand with the City of Bexley’s Recreation and Parks Department, to help supplement the efforts of their maintenance team.

We invite you to join us on Thursday mornings, beginning in early May (weather dependent) to tackle different gardening/landscape projects throughout Jeffrey Park and other areas of Bexley. We take on everything from installation of plant material, general bed maintenance, removal of invasive plant material like honeysuckle, tree trimming, installation of mulch, and more.
Our leadership team has a wealth of experience including Master Gardener Volunteers as well as gardening enthusiasts with decades of experience. But don’t let that intimidate you! New volunteers do not need to have gardening experience, just a willingness to give of some time and energy to help make a difference! We’re looking for individuals and groups (from schools, businesses, places of worship, etc. to join our ranks!
